How can I get everything done without feeling stressed?

How can I enjoy my family and home without feeling overwhelmed?

I just want to be happy.

I hear this frequently. Busy professionals trying to balance work and family encounter these thoughts daily.

Here are common concerns:

  • I don’t have enough time to get everything done.

  • The minute I get in a groove something at work or home changes. Relentless changes mean I have to reinvent the wheel over and over.

  • I feel pressure to accomplish and succeed. I need the money.

  • I have no time for myself. I “stress eat” and don’t have time to exercise.

  • I know my family is important but so many urgent matters get in the way, it is hard for me to enjoy them. My relationships are taking the brunt of my stress.

  • I frequently feel grumpy and frustrated because of these struggles.

  • I have difficulty focusing because my brain feels scattered with my long list and constant multi-tasking.

  • All of this is a brain drain and it is taking a toll on me. I feel tired and old and I have no enthusiasm.

You may be wondering, “Why can’t I be happy and thrive when I look around and see everyone else doing so well? Why can’t I handle this?”

Well guess what, you are NOT alone!

People may look like they have it all together. I bet you appear to have it all together, too. It is on the inside (and maybe in your closest relationships) that the truth of your struggle comes out.

So, why are so many of us suffering from stress? Because we are human and we have a physiological reaction to stress known as the “stress response.” We inherited this response which worked beautifully when we had to fight or run from predators such as tigers (or in today’s world a loose dog).

Unfortunately, this stress response is exactly the same whether we are being chased by a dog or being yelled at by our boss. If the boss is yelling, it doesn’t help so much to have an increase in blood pressure and heart rate.

In summary, it is not your fault! It is completely normal to feel this way!

THE GOOD NEWS: There is a better way!

Are you ready to embrace a better way to approach life?

Are you ready to train your brain to stress less, be happier and thrive?

Then you are in the right place!

You may be thinking, “Now she is going to tell me to spend even more time meditating or doing yoga and I don’t have time for that!”

Although meditation and yoga are wonderful, they may not be the best place to start.

Instead, I’ll help you train your brain to stress less and thrive!

What I teach is simpler, faster and more affordable than time lost from work due to too much stress.

You can learn to be proactive and respond to stress instead of being reactive.

The ripple effect from this is extraordinary.

Here is what my signature brain coaching does:

  • Shift your perspective about your daily challenges

  • Feel calmer and more in control of your emotions

  • Build your resilience to work and life adversity

  • Become a more flexible thinker and stop feeling stuck all the time.

  • Lift your mood and energy levels no matter what your circumstance is.

  • Experience life as if you have more time, because you’re no longer staying in your head.

  • Feel more engaging and inviting in your mood and relationships.

  • Improve your focus, make fewer mistakes and get better results at work and at home.

  • Leverage your increased enthusiasm and performance and look forward to your day (instead of dreading it).

  • Discover new opportunities in work and life because of your new way of thinking and being.

  • As a result of retraining your brain to stress less and thrive, most clients:

  • develop better relationships due to a calmer, happier connection with others.

  • experience a healthier lifestyle because they aren’t turning to coping strategies that have negative consequences such as stress eating.

  • are able to achieve their goals with greater ease and without the wear and tear stress has on our bodies and minds. It feels almost like an anti-aging formula.

Let me help you use your brain in a different way.

Hi, I’m Kelli and as a professor at Georgia State University, I created a college class in which I taught students to “Stress Less, Achieve More.” So many of my students had the life-changing (yes, they used those words) results I stated above that I decided to bring this unique program to working professionals. As a teacher and a health coach I am excited about helping you achieve these same results. (See my “about me (link)” page for more details)
